Impenetrable deep colour that's unusually youthful. It offers plum pudding aroma and flavour, lifted with alcohol and slightly raisined. Ripe and almost fruit-sweet to taste, it's a bit hot and alcoholic, grippy in tannins. No shrinking violet this 04 Dec 2024

89/100 from The Real Review - Ralph Kyte-Powell
It's a bit port-like on opening; however, decanting releases the fruit from the oak, revealing intense boysenberry and mulberry flavours supported by a frame of structural tannin and well-integrated acidity. The generous alcohol reflects the warm conditions in 2018. It is a red for late nights and open fires, with its generous, robust flavours and satisfying persistence.
